Emily Notman: Fabric Vessels workshop

Create your own textile wrap using contemporary mixed media techniques and textural applique. Start the day by building surface before using paint, ink and dyes to apply your chosen colour scheme. Finish with fibre techniques and textural hand stitch before constructing into the round. (Your finished piece will be able stand alone or can be wrapped around a vase/jar). All materials are provided but do bring along your own special fabric scraps, threads and haberdashery to personalise your vessel.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshops has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (as listed above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cake will be provided!

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
